Western Missouri Mental Health Center (WMMHC) is a 110-bed comprehensive mental health facility located in the Hospital Hill Complex in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

It is one of six comprehensive mental health centers operated by the Department of Mental Health of the State of Missouri and serves as a training site for students from many schools and disciplines. WMMHC is the inpatient facility for several community mental health centers in the Kansas City areas and surrounding counties. Services provided to the community include emergency screening services, crisis intervention, residential programs, acute and sub-acute adult inpatient treatment as well as child and adolescent treatment.

Heart of America Shakespeare Festival Kansas City MO June18-July7 The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival is set under the stars in South Moreland Park near Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. It is a perfect way to spend a summer evening with family and friends. They have several programs to study and explore such as Speaker's Bureau and Poster and Sonnet Contest. The faculty includes theatre professionals, actors, and educators experienced in performing and teaching Shakespeare. Many of the instructors are veterans of festival productions.
