The 1837 one-and-one-half story log home of Col Nathan Boone, son of frontiersman Daniel Boone as well as a military officer and early developer of Missouri, retains many of its original features, such as the hand planed moldings and walnut clapboard siding. Boone lived in this house until his death in 1856. Development of the site is continuing and access is limited. Phone for up-to-date park information prior to visiting this site.
