Missouri's most noted 20th -century artist lived in this 2 1/2 story, late-Victorian-style house from 1939 until his death in 1975. The house and the carriage house, which Benton converted into an art studio, contain many of Thomas Hart Benton's personal belongings. Guided tours are available; a fee is charged.
