Year-round fishing is part of the great appeal of this 5,000-acre lake in north central Missouri. Warm water, released from the power plant, heats up the winter fishing for bass, catfish, crappei and hubrid striped bass. Primitive campsites abound in the area, plus boat ramps, marina facilities, and lodging.
