This 3,215-acre state park, set among the green hills of northern Missouri, is centered around 573-acre Forest Lake. The wooded park features camping and hiking trails, as well as swimming and picnicking areas. Other amenities include a full service marina, cabins and dining lodge. Visitors can see 1,000-yr-old Native American petroglyphs in a shelter area. Located 2 1/2 miles west of Kirksville off Hwy 6.
