Camp Penuel is a Christian camping ministry founded by Rev. Harry H. Douma in 1973. It is totally free non-denominational Christian camps for inner-city, underprivileged, and abused children, ages 7-11, from the surrounding areas. They host over 3,000 youngsters every summer. Activities include canoeing, paddle boats, splash boats (kayaks), pontoon boat rides, and fishing. The camp also offers daily activities including: music class (where they learn the chapel songs), arts and crafts, and sports activities.
