Founded in 1983, NMMC-West Point Hospital is a full-service medical facility in West Point, Miss. A private, not-for-profit organization, NMMC-West Point became the first community hospital to affiliate with North Mississippi Health Services headquartered in Tupelo, Miss. NMMC is a regional health care company serving 22 counties in north Mississippi and northwest Alabama. At a time when many community hospitals are closing their doors, NMMC-West Point continues to expand its range of services, specialties, and physicians. Located on a 50-acre campus, NMMC-West Point Hospital has abundant room for growth. Modern medical office buildings line the streets leading to the hospital. An Outpatient Center and Wellness Center were added to the campus in 1995.
