The Averill family established the ranch in 1945, when it first began operating as a western hide-a-way for vacationers from all part of the world. Today the Ranch continues to operate the same, offering guests an opportunity to experience a real western vacation and genuine hospitality in a setting of unmatched beauty.
Flathead Lake Lodge is unique in its location directly on the shores of the largest natural lake west of the Great Lakes. The Ranch combines a western atmosphere and complete horse program, along with the added enjoyment of water sports, fishing and tennis.
