Search Big Sky Montana

Big Sky has seen many improvements in the past decade, starting with an $18 million dollar investment in 1990 in Shoshone Condominium Hotel and the 43,000-sq-foot Yellowstone Conference Center. In 1995, the Lone Star Peak Tram was built, giving those willing to take the challenge a lift to over 11,000 feet and one of the country's greatest vertical drops at 4180 feet. An aggressive list expansion plan has added 11 new lifts in the last 10 years.

There are slopes for all levels of skill, ranging from tame beginner slopes to the steep chutes, narrow couloirs and wide open powder fields of Lone Peak.

In addition, the resort continues its Kids Ski Free program, allowing youngster from 2 to 10 a free lift ticket with the purchase of a full price adult lift ticket.
