This irrigation reservoir provides a popular recreation area for people living in south central Montana. Attractions include good walleye and rainbow trout fishing as well as boating and camping. There are 75 camping spots on the large 289-acre site, with both flush and vault toilets, grills and fire rings, picnic tables, trash cans, drinking water, and coin-operated showers.
Campers may stay 7 days out of any 30-day period at a cost of $15 per night. Day use fees are FREE for Montana residents $5 per day for non-residents (but is included in the cost of a campsite for overnight guests).
The park is located 22 miles SW of Laurel on Highway 212, then 5 miles west of Boyd on county road.
