Witness the splendor of the open range, the restless sounds of milling cattle, working horses, and wagons hard on the trail. Drink in the aroma of cowboy camp coffee as it winds its way through the morning mist. Dawn is breaking over the Big Sky Country and it's time to load the wagons, saddle the horses and hit the trail.
Gene and Marsha Foss are your hosts. Their working ranch is located on the rolling prairies of eastern Montana, home base for the Foss Cattle Drive and your own personal Old West adventure.
Teams of horses will pull wagons on the trail and you can ride the buckboards or stay atop your own horse. Or some of each.
Every evening, showers are set up, tents are readied and meals prepared. Meals are made fresh each day from authentic chuck wagons. You're welcome to join in the evening's entertainment.
