Grizzly Discovery Center, a bear and wolf preserve, offers view rarely if ever seen in the wild. Here you will discover firsthand the habits and surprisingly playful behaviors of eight grizzly bears and a gray wolf pack. The center also present a broad range of interactive exhibits, films, presentations and wildlife-themed gifts suitable for all ages. A portion of the proceeds from the entrance fees and gift sales is donated to the International Grizzly Fund, which sponsors the conservation of wild bears.

The center is open all year from 8:30 to 8:30 or until dusk, whichever is earlier.

Eastern Idaho State Fair Blackfoot ID August31-September7 The Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot begins Labor Day and features horse racing, demolition derby, rodeo, and top name stars along with the excitement of the midway rides and wide range of food booths.

The fair has all the traditional elements of an agricultural fair, including exhibits and 4-H competition.
