The Underground is a recreation of Havre's history. When fire destroyed most of Havre, business owners moved underground to carry on their businesses until the town could be rebuilt. Visitors can see recreations of several of these shops and businesses, including a butcher shop and an ice cream store. Tours are available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Weekends and evenings by appointment. Located at the corner of First Street (Hwy 2) and 3rd Avenue.
