The Headwaters Heritage Museum of Three Forks is one of those gems a tourist sometimes finds off the well traveled highways. The museum contains thousands of artifacts depicting local history, such as small anvil, all that remains of a trading post established here in 1810. The largest brown trout ever caught in Montana is also on display. Nostalgic scenes from the past include a dental office, kitchen, laundry nook, school room, blacksmith shop, and millinery shop.
