The museum complex has six buildings: the main museum, the 1914 Lisk Creek School, a homestead shack, a small building where artifacts from the first store and the butcher shop are displayed, the 1916 Old Richey Jail, and the Old First National Bank. The bank was in service from 1916 to 1928, after which the building was used as the post office for 35 years.
The museum displays include more than 7000 items of historical interest, including post office records from Richey, Axtell, Sullivan and Paxton Post Offices.
Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 2:00 to 5:00.
