South Dickey Lake Day Use Area is located on the Kootenai National Forest in NW Montana. The lake is gorgeous and popular for all water sports. Being close to Canada, it is frequently visited by Canadians. There is no overnight camping at the site. From Fortine, travel south 6 miles on Highway 93. Turn on Trego Road 3788 and follow it for a mile. Turn left and follow around the lake for 2 miles to the site. Open mid-May to mid-September.
