Springtime Ranch operates a summer camp for boys and girls, ages 7 to 12. Its purpose is to help young people develop an appreciation of nature by working with animals. The ratio of one counselor and one junior counselor for each five "ranch hands" offers a safe, fun and educational camping experience.
The Shortridge family began ranching in Montana. The ranch produces grass/alfalfa hay and its herd thrives along a wooded stretch of prime Missouri River bottom land.
