The Carbon County Museum in Red Lodge was started in 1959 by Alice Greenough to house the collection of her world-renowned rodeo family. Over the years, it has grown to include exhibits on homesteading, mining, American Indians, moonshining, cowboy artif acts, the town's first telephone switchboard, fire wagons from the 1890's and an original homesteading cabin.
Hours of operation are 10:00 to 6:00, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
