The Garfield County Museum contains a replica of a full size Triceratops that was dug out north of Jordan. There are also several other fossils, including a Tyranosaurus rex head. A homestead cabin and an old blacksmith shop replica have been built ins ide the museum. An old time schoolhouse stands on the property. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
The museum is located on Highway 200, as you leave Jordan heading for Circle. The museum is open June, July and August.
