Sackville is a great city to live in if you want to enjoy the advantages of the outdoors right in your backyard. The town contains many wildlife areas like Wildlife Interpretation Centre, Sackville Waterfowl Park, Johnson's Mills, Tintamarre National Wildlife Area, and more. Beech Hill Park is a nice place to enjoy the pleasant summer weather. Other attractions include the numerous Acadian villages dating back as far as three centuries old. The wooden remnants of dykes hand-built by the Acadians can still be seen along Westcock Marsh and throughout the Tantramar region.

Many historic building exist in and around Sackville, including Saint James Presbyterian Church Museum, St Anne's Anglican Church, Fort Gaspereaux, and Keillor House. Fort Beauseejour National Historic Site and The Bell Inn are two buildings that are among visitors' favorites.

A must-see while in Sackville is the Confederation Bridge, which opened in May of 1997.
