Forsyth Kennel Club was established to promote the responsible breeding, training, and exhibiting of purebred dogs. It holds two all breed dog shows and obedience trials at the Joel Veteran's Coliseum, along with an all breed match at Tanglewood Park.
The Club's objectives are to increase member's knowledge of purebred dogs, to increase public appreciation and knowledge of purebred dogs through education, to foster and maintain friendship and sportsmanship among members, and to conduct sanctioned dog shows and matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
