JFK ADATC, the Julian F. Keith Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment Center, is an 80 bed (70 beds for rehabilitation, 10 beds for detox/crisis recovery) residential treatment facility designed to meet the needs of alcohol and other drug dependent residents of the western counties of the State of North Carolina. JFK ADATC is a part of a continuum of care that begins with the area mental health programs, which serve as a single portal of entry. Treatment is available to any resident of their catchment area regardless of financial resources or insurance status. JFK ADATC operates under the authority of the State of North Carolina through the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services.
