The Boyette family found Ocracoke in 1941 and has been in the inn keeping business ever since. Boyette's two main buildings, located in a small grove of trees, are connected by a large, landscaped deck. Hammocks under the trees, wide porches wit h white rockers and ceiling fans add to the quiet elegance of the Boyette House. Recent additions to the lodging menu are a duplex and studio apartments in the heart of Ocracoke village.
