The Buck Hill Campground is situated on the river banks of the North Toe River. The campground has 60 large grassy sites with plenty of shade for those mid-80 degrees summer days. There are plenty of open spaces for bike riding, kite flying, and ball throwing. The site features two bath houses, hot showers, laundry facilities, picnic tables, campfire rings, full hookups, and pull-thru and tent sites. Firewood, ice, and tubes for the river are also available. Wiseman's View, Roan Mountain State Park, Mt. Mitchell State Park, and Hawksbill Mountain are a few attractions.
