Donated to the state by the family of the 26th President, this nature preserve attracts naturalists and photographers. The N.C. Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, located in the natural area, interprets the coastal environment with exhibits and multimedia programs. The center has aquariums and touch tables, exhibits, films and other special programs.
