Camp Atchison State Historic Site

Search Binford North Dakota

Located two and one-half miles south of the junction of ND 1 and ND 65, this site marks the location of the field base of the 1863 Sibley expedition. The camp was used for more than a month and contains a military grave and a memorial marker. The site was once garrisoned by 1,000 soldiers.
