Icelandic State Park is located in northeastern North Dakota on the shores of Lake Renwick along the Tongue River in Pembina County.
The park provides visitors with over 900 acres of romping room and about 160 campsites, most with hookups. Three sleeping cabins are also available.
A full slate of amenities greet the camper including swimming beach, boat ramp, fishing dock, showers, hiking trails, picnic area and a playground to name just a few.
One interesting side trip includes the Gunlogson Homestead and Nature Preserve. This restored early homestead captures the state's pioneering spirit and gives the visitor a glimpse of North Dakota's rich history.
