Lake Darling is located in northwestern North Dakota about 20 miles north-northwest of Minot.
The 20-mile long lake is the main interest of Upper Souris National Wildlife Refuge and is fed from the north by the Mouse River. Popular activities include fishing and hunting through the fall and ice fishing for walleye and perch in the winter.
