The Griggs County Hospital opened February 15, 1951. It is a 10-bed short term hospital located in Cooperstown, North Dakota. There have been over 17,000 admissions to the hospital and 1500 births during the past 50 years.
The fifty-bed nursing home addition was completed in 1971, and the first resident admitted December 7. The facility offers skilled nursing care and with it recreational, social, rehabilitation and reality therapy.
