Located in northeastern North Dakota in Grand Forks County, Turtle River State Park is set in a secluded wooded valley along the scenic, rainbow trout-stocked stream. Its nearly 800 acres provide 125 campsites, some with electrical hookups. Other amenities include sleeping cabins, showers, dining hall and kitchen picnic area and plaground and park store.
The park also boasts a 2.5 mile trail specifically designated for mountain bikers, cross country ski trails, sledding hill. Children are encouraged to borrow fishing gear from the park office to introduce them to the sport.
