Heartland Museum of Military Vehicles

In 1986, armed only with a determination to preserve historic military vehicles, four Lexington men formed the Heartland Museum. The museum presents more than 60 military vehicles of all types, including Jeeps, trucks, planes and helicopters. Highlights include a Downed Airman Retriever, two FMC XM-2 Bradley Fighting Vehicles and an M-60 Main Battle tank.
