Annalee Doll Shop and Museum is located on Hemlock Dr. off Route 104 or Reservoir Rd. off Route 3, in Meredith, New Hampshire. Aside from their collection of dolls, the facilities include a playground for the children and a nature walk through the woods. Annalee Davis Thorndike is an important New Hampshire businesswoman and entrepreneur who built a home craft business ininto a national company. Born in Concord, New Hamsphire in 1915, Annalee Davis Thorndike pursued her interest in art by making dolls. Her first creations were marionettes, then she began making cloth dolls.
