Androscoggin Valley Hospital, located in Coos County, is a not-for-profit acute care community hospital licensed for 92 beds which includes a ten-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. The hospital provides a broad range of health services to meet the majority of needs of the Upper Androscoggin Valley area and surrounding communities. Androscoggin Valley Hospital's primary care physicians' practice, Mountain Health Services, serves the community through its offices in Berlin and Gorham.
