
Founded in 1951, the Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, near Lake Mascoma, in
Enfield, New Hampshire, is a place of prayer and meditation in a unique, natural setting of peace and beauty. On the shrine grounds is a replica of the apparition site at La Salette France, a rosary pond, outdoor Stations of the Cross, the Calvary scene with Holy Stairs, and a peace walk. The shrine is also well-known for its Christmas holiday display.
Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, now number 220 fathers and brothers in North America, with members who also support mission territories in Madagascar, the Philippines and South America.
Founded on the message and inspiration of Mary's apparition at La Salette, France, their ministry is to help people respond to the grace of reconciliation through faith in Jesus Christ, especially those people who are alienated or estranged. They make this message of reconciliation known to all God's people wherever they minister.
