Founded in 1968, County College of Morris, a publicly supported two-year community college, serves the needs of area residents and employers for educational advancement, career training and for social and cultural enrichment. It is located on 218 acres of rolling terrain and serves an enrollment over 9,000 with 78 different degree and certificate programs. The school has the largest music department of the states community colleges; it grants more associate degrees for registered nurses than any other public or private school in the state.
