The facility is free to the public and provides educational tours and lectures to a wide variety of civic organizations and educational institutions, including groups such as the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts from around the state, hosts of public and parochial schools, and numerous philanthropic associations dedicated to the less-advantaged.
