St. Rita Hotel has seventeen rooms, all different in size and décor. The amenities include a private bath, AC, refrigerator, TV, telephone, beach badges with a deposit, it is only four houses away from the beach, and king or queen beds. It was started by Elizabeth Dietz in her home, when her husband fell sick. She added on some rooms and today the lounge is filled with her antiques and furniture, with pictures on the walls. It is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Also at the turn of the century, the front of the Hotel served as Beach Haven's first post office.
