A major public technological university, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is an important conduit through which technology flows into society. NJIT offers 100 degree programs in 27 undergraduate majors and 30 graduate specialties through its six colleges and schools: Newark College of Engineering; New Jersey School of Architecture; College of Science and Liberal Arts; School of Management; Albert Dorman Honors College; and College of Computing Sciences.
Approximately 9,000 students are enrolled in all the NJIT schools.
