The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) is the State University of the health sciences and the nation's largest institution of its kind. It is a major center for basic biomedical, psychosocial, clinical, and public health research. It also serves as a resource for a full range of the highest quality healthcare.
UMDNJ comprises eight institutions on five regional campuses: Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Newark, Piscataway, and Stratford; New Jersey Dental School in Newark; New Jersey Medical School in Newark; Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway/New Brunswick and Camden; School of Health Related Professions in Newark, Scotch Plains, Piscataway, and Stratford; School of Nursing in Newark and Stratford; School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford; and School of Public Health in Newark, Piscataway, New Brunswick, Stratford and Camden.
