The museum features exhibits interpreting the Los Alamos National Laboratory's history as well as the depth of its science and engineering capabilities. Containing Manhattan Project history, the laboratory's defense, technology and basic research projects are all detailed in 40 interactive exhibits. Special exhibits and educational and community programs are presented.
Located in downtown Los Alamos at the corner of 15th Street and Central Avenue (across the street from the Los Alamos Visitor Center). Free Admission. The Museum is open Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10-5, Closed Sundays, Mondays, and Federal Holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's, call for times.
