Rehabilitation Hospital of New Mexico (RHN) provides a full continuum of in-and outpatient care including physical and occupational therapies, speech and language therapy, as well as psychology services. The hospital is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
RHN has Licensed Beds: 52 acute rehab, and 10 skilled nursing. Inpatient admissions in 2002 totaled 1,260. RHN is the only rehab hospital in the state to be Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) 4 accredited, which means accredited in all of the following: Comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation programs, hospital (adults and children), Spinal cord system of care (adults and children), Brain injury programs and Outpatient medical rehabilitation programs (adults and children).
