Andy Goldschmidt's ceramics are intent on finding connections between times and places, between peoples and cultures, and in the timeless metaphors of the vessel and sculpture as the embodiment of man. The designs on his vessels are steeped in historic tradition, with inspiration gained from the Southwestern motifs found in pottery, weaving, basketry, and petroglyphs. He also specializes in the restoration of American Indian pottery, and prehistoric, historic, and contemporary ceramics. Other collections include plaques and menorahs.
