Sugarite Canyon is located on the Colorado border. Sugarite Canyon State Park is featured with heavily wooded mountains and meadows painted with wildflowers and butterflies. It offers observation of plentiful wildlife, hike scenic trails, cross-country ski, camp and picnic. Group shelter, restrooms, showers, and visitors center and activities such as camping, picnicking, fishing, boating, sailing, and winter sports are facilitated by it.
