Texico is in Curry County, and in the Southeast New Mexico region. You can locate Texico east of Clovis at the junction of US Highways 60 and 84.
Texico is the oldest town in Curry County, first settled around 1900. Way back in the day, it was a typical Wild West town. Now it's a border entry to New Mexico and graciously distributes literature and information to entice tourists to see more of New Mexico.
