Canton-Potsdam Hospital provides comprehensive acute medical-surgical care and emergency care, and has widely recognized programs in chemical dependency treatment, cardiac care, obstetrics, and physical rehabilitation services. The Hospital operates the Warner Cancer Treatment Center. With the main Hospital campus in Potsdam, the Hospital also provides services in Canton, Norfolk, and Richville.

The medical staff of fifty-five physicians includes specialists in twenty-five areas, including eleven surgical specialties. In total, there are more than 125,000 patient visits annually to the numerous Hospital service locations.

The Hospital is extremely well equipped, and offers a wide array of services. Examples include a modern intensive care/cardiac care unit, nuclear medicine, ultra-sound, cardiac testing, computerized topographic (CAT) scanner, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI),lithotripsy and Positron Emmission Tomography (PET)imaging.
