Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, Inc. (CMC), became one of the first multi-hospital systems in New York state more than 25 years ago, and how times have changed for them. Today, CMC comprises four acute care hospitals, three nursing homes, 15 offsite ambulatory care centers, and two methadone treatment centers. Its hospital-based home health agency is one of the largest in the U.S., approaching one million visits per year.
