US Senator and New York governor Silas Wright called this home from 1833-1850. Built by Moses Whitcomb, it first had only two rooms. Silas Wright bought the house a year later, and within the next year started expanding the house by adding a kitchen, entryway, parlors, and second story bedrooms.
