Clendening Lake is the largest undeveloped lake in Ohio and is known its solitude and great fishing. The 1,800-acre impound has three public boat ramps and maintains a 10 horsepower limit for outboard motors. The full-service marina offers docking, boat rental, boating and fishing supplies, snacks, fuel, boat sales and service.
The surrounding 4,800 acres supports up to 100 campers with showers and electric hookups as well as modern restrooms. In addition, 80 sites (class B with and without electric) can accomodate RV's up to 35 feet.
Fish species include Bluegill, Bullhead, Channel and Flathead Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth, Smallmouth and White Bass and Saugeye.
