Granville is located in central Ohio in Licking County and is the home for and is the home for [denisanu]. The town was first settled in 1805 by members of the Licking Land Company and was comprised mostly of people from Granville, MA. The original Mayor-Recorder-Trustee governmental setup was changed in 1964 to a Council-Manager form of government. Golfers always enjoy their outings to Granville Golf Course, a public 18-hole facility designed by renowned golf architect Donald Ross in 1924 and the Raccoon International Golf Club, also a public 18-hole layout which opened for play in 1972.
