The seating in the Gund is symmetrical. The lower deck is surrounded by loges. Immediately on top of the loges is the uper deck, so there's no walk way between the two decks. Plus, the upper deck is closer to the floor than in most arenas, adding of seating, and the crowd noise impact. the slope of the upper field is close but not quite as dramatic as that of Jacobs field.
